Faces of UA is an extension of the OneUA campaign from Fall 2020 organized by SGA in collaboration with multiple other campus departments.
Our goal for the Faces of UA campaign is to promote interest and for participants to accrue knowledge regarding the history and student experiences at The University of Alabama, while maintaining the idea that ‘hate doesn’t roll here.’ SGA is hosting a campaign in which students, community members, and virtual participants can engage in an interactive campus tour to destinations on-campus that signify historical importance to the development of diversity at UA. As participants experience the diversity tour either virtually or physically, they will watch videos of various students and athletes talking more about the importance of OneUA and their personal background. At the conclusion of the tour, participants will have gained a greater sense of the history of diversity at UA and heard about the diverse experiences of our campus community.
