Ella is a sophomore from Mandeville, Louisiana majoring in Political Science on the Pre-Law Track. During her freshman year, she served on First Year Council within SGA and on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee within Delta Delta Delta. She is excited to represent the College of Arts & Sciences by working diligently to implement legislation that betters the quality of the student experience.

John Dodd is a senior from Winfield, AL double majoring in political science and public relations. John also serves as the Director of External Affairs for MARS (Men Agianst Rape and Sexual Assault) where he commits his time to educating students on sexual assault prevention. He also serves as a peer advisor for the College of Arts & Sciences where he mentors incoming freshmen who are interested in political science or law school. John is excited for his new role as Senator for the College of Arts & Sciences, and he looks forward to serving. the student body.

Porter Lawrence O’Doherty is a freshman majoring in History and Political Science. He is the fundraising chairman for his fraternity, and wants to continue to help raise money with the school to go towards charity. In addition, he plans to represent the students of UA in the best way possible to improve their campus life.

Ruthanne Carter is a sophomore from Knoxville, Tennessee. She is majoring in political science with a minor in philosophy and global and cultural perspectives on the pre-law track. She previously served as a member of SGA’s First Year Council as well as the assistant secretary for Phi Mu.
